COMMITTEES

 FOIF Board and Committees

  • Clothing (Chair-Shelleigh Birlingmair)– This group will work with vendors to select and sell clothing and related items for fundraising and other purposes.

  • Communications & Technology (Andrea Keith)– This group will work to produce all the publications used by FOIF to get our message out and maintain www.Ironmenfootball.com, and a database of current email addresses for parents.  Also this group works to provide volunteers for filming the games for the coaches

  • Concessions (coordinated by Class Reps) – This group handles acquiring and selling food at all Freshman and Sophomore home games and any Varsity games that FOIF is awarded.

  • End of season banquet (Coordinated by Class Reps)– This group will work to plan and organize the banquets for all three levels.  Representatives from all levels are needed.

  • Fields (Warren Gerdes & Jef Keith)– This group works to prepare the field before every event including hanging banners, igniting of the orange smoke before each game and other activities.

  • Fund Raising (Chair-Kevin Birlingmair,Dave Osnowitz, Jef Keith, Brad Musselman,Class Reps) - This one speaks for itself.  Those serving on this group will work to raise the capital we need to fulfill our mission.  This will include banner sales, Touchdown Club, and other events.

  •  50/50 Sales (Kevin Burke) - This group will work to sell 50/50 raffle tickets before each Varsity home game.

  • Year Book (Jennifer Sutton, Adria Carter)– This group will work to produce the programs available at home games, as well as solicit the ads that are part of the program.

  • Orange/Black Scrimmage (FOIF Board, Class Reps)– This group will work to plan an evening of fellowship prior to the kickoff of the season.  The orange/black scrimmage is a scrimmage game for all levels which will be held in August a week prior to the first game.

  • Tailgating & Reserved Parking (Jef Keith, Class Reps)– This group will work to plan tailgate events, which take place prior to home games.

  • Team Food (Chair-Maureen McIntosh, Pam Cross)– This group helps assemble meals for our players after away games, and organizes team dinners when requested by Coach Temples.

  • State Farm Good Neighbor Grant Coordinator (Open)– This person will coordinate NCHS parents who are employed by State Farm and are interested in allocating their GNG to FOIF.  Also will oversee the processing of the grant to assure the monies get to FOIF in a timely fashion.
