Clothing
- Robin discussed the idea
of partnering with Spirit Club to sell clothing. This does not appear to be
a direction that the Spirit Club would like to go. The logistics of
tracking expenses and income would require more time than would be
profitable. Therefore, FOIF will sell football specific clothing.
- Discussed the idea of
selling rubber band bracelets as a fund raiser. Idea was floated to have
the players help sell before school, during lunch and after school. Need to
find an exact cost and then have the board vote on the idea over email.
- Discussed what type of
t-shirts we want to sell – idea was to use orange shirts with black print
- Need to start looking at
getting equipment bags
- Discussed offering a car
football magnet
Committees
- Publish directions for
completing SF Grants for FOIF
- Obtain and pass out SF
Grant brochures at the spring parent meetings
- Wednesday October 19th
Monical’s Pizza night!
- Discussed trying to do
grocery bagging during the summer before football season starts. Diane will
get some dates and pass them on to Ron for communication to Hud
- Chicagoland Speedway,
Route 66 Raceway, and Edward Jones Dome have open dates for operating
concessions stands – need 25 to 30 people to man the booth
- Redbird arena may be
another option for running concessions
Misc
- Discussed having a board meeting on Wednesday, March
30th to see recommendations from the clothing committee.
