
Friends of Ironmen Football (FOIF) - General

Introductions were made. Many new attendees
Committee Reports:
- Treasurer
- Approximate balance is $5,000
- Secretary & Communications
- Website being updated
- Parent information being reviewed
- Clothing
- First order of clothing turned in
- Sold approximately $2,600 worth of clothing
- Asked about doing an order during football camp
- Concession
- Had quite a few people sign-up to help
- Linda has attempted to contact each volunteer,
having some trouble with email addresses
- Varsity regular season home game for FOIF is still
outstanding
- Banquet
- End zone ads
- Dave Cobb is coordinating contact Dave if you
have potential advertising
- Cost is ~ $500-$600
- 3 x 8 banners
- Dave passed out copies of the agreement that needs
to be completed
- Goal is to sell at least 20 banners this will
cover the cost of the new varsity uniforms
- Looking at including a business card advertisement
in the program for anyone that purchases a banner
- Goal is have at least 12 banners sold by the end
of July
- Banners will need to be put up before the game and
taken down after the game
- If volunteers are received for each lever the
banners will be displayed at all football games
- Send names of interested advertisers to Dave Cobb

- Sprinklers are turned on and watering the fields
- Program
- Ray Rapp is coordinating
- Received a very good price on the cost
- Misc Fund Raising
- Monicals Pizza Night Wednesday, October 19,

- June 25, 2005 Jewel grocery bagging Special
Teams
- July 9, 2005 0 Jewel grocery bagging - Freshman
- Sept 24, 2005 Cubs grocery bagging (10:00 AM
6:00 PM)
- Stores are not hiring baggers the day we are
bagging so it is vital that players show up for the time they volunteer
- Orange/Black
- Committee has been formed

- Ron is planning to announce the games if possible
- Tailgating
- Mike Steach will be heading this committee
- Team Food
- Being worked on
- Varsity will have a Thursday night team meal every
week focus will be on team building and not food
- Several businesses have volunteered to donate
meals looking at doing these after the Friday night home games
- Yard Signs
- Will inventory what we have and see how far they
go
- If you have a yard sign contact Monna Cross,
663-4997, so we can get an accurate count
New Business
- State Farm employees if
you have 40 hours donated to the Ironmen football program and/or Unit 5 you
can submit a Good Neighbor Grant in the amount of $500 to the Friends of
Ironmen Football you will need to indicate on the grant form that you want
this donation to go to Friends of Ironmen Football
- Kristy Kreme cards are
still available looking at having the incoming freshman sell these cards,
selling at the concession stands, etc
